Writing IT Resumes


CONTACT INFORMATION

Here you give your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. The phone number should your cell number only. The contact information must be update. If you change your cell number or address mention it in the resume immediately.

FOCUS ON YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Concentrate on detailing with your accomplishments or experience in particular field. Only few people to come up with even a few honest things to say about themselves, others try always try to hide their excellent experience and accomplishments they have acquires over the past years. Most of the time it is worth it to cut away, but some times it also play main role.
The resume got very much importance because it is your resume by whom you get the opportunity to face an interview. It is the first object through you makes a contact with an employer who desires you are selected for an interview or not. That's why it must be perfect and impressive.

PROFESSIONAL I.T RESUME REQUIREMENT:
Make your I.T resume not more than 2 page .Use a white paper and a skilled looking font such as Times Roman, Arial, or Helvetica. The font should be normal. Normally, keep the font size within 10-12 points. In the IT resume the approach should be professional to your work

IT EXPERIENCE:
Experience in IT can be part-time or full-time, paid or volunteer. Use attractive title. Exclude all unnecessary information. Specify more detail about the particulars of your experience.
In this section you write down the languages in which you skilled such as C, C++, JAVA, VC++, VB, .Net etc. Also mention the projects you have undertaken and technical skills. Make an emphasis on the particular project you are best at. Also mention the award and reward you got during any past job. Give past history and experience in the IT resume.

MAKE YOUR IT RESUME NOT MORE THAN TWO PAGES
The resume should be limited to one or two pages only. If your experience is more than four years then the resume may be up to 2-3pages only. Less is good about resume.

EDUCATION:
In this section you should mention your all degrees in chronological order. Then also mention the name of the university/Institution. At the time you are preparing your CV if you have not as yet received any degree do not mention it in your resume .
e.g. you are currently appearing for some another degree. In it also give course name and the grade or the percentages you got.

AVOID GRAMMATICAL MISTAKE AND AVOID UNNECESSARY DECORATION

You must avoid spelling and grammatical mistakes, do not totally rely on automated spell or grammar check.
Also use one type of font for the whole resume. The size of font should be between 10-13 only. Use keyword or action verbs in your resume.

 Smiley really it is good site  thanks you. It has programmer resume for real DOTNET certified Engineer pls check out. Again i foud one more good site http://www.coverlettersonline.com
